Abstract:

To meet market requirement, this work item presents a scenario of three band downlink (3DL) carrier aggregation to enlarge downlink operation bandwidth. The coverage of work item is for inter-band and TDD intra band contiguous carrier aggregation to LTE. The band combinations should be specified in the Rel-12 specifications.
It is proposed to start a 3GPP RAN4 Work Item to specify band combination of three downlink LTE carrier aggregations over carriers of Band 3, Band 42 and Band 42.
